Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor in Sanskrit:
- Masters Degree in the concerned subject or discipline with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. (G.O(P)No.115/2008/H.Edn.Dated: 27.09.2008)
- M.Ed Degree with not less than 55 % marks (G.O(P)No.102/2011/H.Edn.Dated:19.07.2011)

Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for Heavy Goods and Heavy passenger Vehicles and applications with only one endorsement will be summarily rejected (Vide amendment No. 47/78 to the Motor Vehicles Act.
Higher Secondary School Teacher – Statistics:
- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala.
- B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala.
- In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
